I love storytelling and I love storytellers. Writers and actors. So in this post I am going to show one of my favourite writers, who was also a playwriter, and one of the most famous actresses of her time, so much so, her name is famous still in the 21st century.

Oscar Wilde , the flamboyant writer, with acerbic wit and a tenderness that betrayed his insouciant facade, had a way with words and stories. From comedy plays and touching tales to psychological descriptions and emotional poems, he was almost perfect for his time. But more so would have been in Ancient Greece. His passion for making statements, his ability to be the centre of attention and his attractiveness through his appearance and wit I tried to reflect choosing those colours, fabrics and accesories. And he would have lived without fear of judgment for being who he was.

Sarah Bernhardt, one of the most famours actors ever, a powerful presence on stage that would have been amazing in a period where playwriting achieved its Golden Era in several countries: 17th century. Still a job that was tainted with lots of prejudice, specially for women, but that nevertheless, exerted a magic and attraction that still happens nowadays. For her, I decided to dress her with a structured velvet body and vaporous dress, to reflect not only her character, but also, the essence of good storytelling: structure and fluidity.
